Valmie Resources Inc (OTCMKTS:VMRI) has been slowly gaining momentum, over the last five trading sessions, after the company revealed that it was planning to host a live demonstration of AeroLift’s unmanned transport, in Trinidad and Tobago. VMRI announced that its joint venture partner, AeroLift eXpress, LLC, had hosted a team from the Cargo Consolidators Agency Ltd, which would collaborate with AeroLift for the demonstration.
James Stafford, the CEO of AeroLift, stated that the Cargo Consolidators were visiting to help finalize the details of the trip, which would also include meetings with the Trinidadian Coast Guards, as well as ministers of the country. He claimed that it was fortunate to have the CCA on their team, with their high level contacts. Mr. Stafford also pointed out that the CCA was not only providing access to their contacts, but also support with technical export licensing, event choreography and assistance with the site selection.
A press release from VMRI revealed that the CCA plans to use the unmanned aerial technologies from AeroLift to monitor pipelines and platforms, as well as conducting coastal studies and cargo transport. It should be noted here that AeroLift’s UAVs have the capability of delivering a cargo of approximately 14 pounds, within a radius of 250 miles. The company had engaged the CCA, only last month, when it visited Port of Spain, which quickly led to a MoU and the current presentation.
Valmie on the other hand, has been making progress with its racing team. The company recently added a third pilot to the team, to tackle competition on a broader scale. As such, it would now be able to compete in FPV two-member freestyle competitions as well. VMRI noted that the new member has previously been a member of the MultiGP Racing League, comprising of FPV radio controlled aircrafts. Moreover, he is also ranked amongst the top 50 fastest pilots in the US. The company plans to market its fabricated and specialized drone frames, through such competitions.
Valmie Resources Inc (OTCMKTS:VMRI) gained 0.67% in terms of its share value, on a trade volume of 967,632, to close at $1.51 per share, at the end of the October 6 trading session.
