NEXOPTIC TECHNOLOGY COM NPV (OTCMKTS:NXOPF) is pushing higher in the market after announcing the hiring of Mr. Carey Wheeler. After a long successful career in the US army, Mr. Wheeler is to join the company’s technology development team as an Image Processing specialist.
Mr. Wheeler Expertise
Mr. Wheeler joins the company having worked at the US Army Intelligence and Security Command as a Geospatial intelligence analyst. During his tenure at the Washington DC post, he analyzed overhead and aerial imagery, developed by photographic and electronic means.
The company is now planning to leverage Mr. Wheeler vast experience on the analysis of long-range drone images as well as on quantitative image processing. His experience will also be vital on the company’s effort to develop sensor models as well as image processing methods that should enhance and expand applications for Blade optics.
‘POC’ Development
The appointment of Mr. Wheeler follows the confirmation that NexOptic Technology had successfully completed the phase 3 of prototype development of ‘POC’ program in partnership with Spectrum Optic Inc. The ‘POC’ phase study sought to analyze and demonstrate the benefits of Spectrum’ Blade Optics imaging technology.
“By completing the prototype, our goal is to demonstrate, in the real world, just how powerful this technology may be and illustrate potential benefits for market applications,” said CEO Paul McKenzie
If successful, the POC will be the first of its kind telescope in the market with a 5-inch objective lens and a rectangular aperture. The final phase of the study has already commenced.
Meanwhile, NEXOPTIC TECHNOLOGY COM NPV (OTCMKTS:NXOPF has received approval from the Depository Trust Company for the commencement of trading of its common shares on the OTCQB. The approval will make it easy and economical for traders to transfer shares between brokerage accounts across the United States.
Chief executive expects the DTC eligibility to draw in a broader range of investors into the stock while also boosting liquidity and convenience of trading the shares across the US.
