Lisk (LSK) Becomes the Latest Victim of A Malicious Attack

The Crypto assets are highly valuable. It is the most digital asset across the world. So, malicious attacks are coming either to steal or spend the assets. Lisk (LSK) is the latest coin to become the victim of malicious code.

The community has elected around 101 delegates to secure Lisk. Each of the Lisk transaction is secured and verified by the delegates and to produce the blocks. Despite all this security for the Lisk, someone managed to inject a malicious code. It has resulted in the acceptance of a faulty transaction on June 4, 2018. Of course, the system displayed the warnings about the faulty time stamp. It has caused to produce the blocks but fortunately, the transaction has not succeeded.

The company is running the Lisk network on an updated version of the software and is free from the bug.

Lisk Again Runs into Trouble this time with delegates or Elites

Lisk is again running into trouble with either delegates or Elites finding a way to vote for themselves without the participation of a wider community to hold positions. The delay to turn ON the network of Lisk is also due to the sluggish response from the delegates. It is necessary for the delegates to update relevant nodes.

To date, Lisk, which is one among the few of the working voting systems, has more delegate nodes than some of the upcoming projects like TRON and EOS. The upcoming projects are yet to validate the similar type of delegates. Despite all these positives, the recent attacks and the reaction of nodes makes the Lisk network defective.

However, malicious attack news has caused Lisk to decline to $8,53 (down 10%) in the past twenty four hours. However, the market for Lisk has been on downtrend for the past one month.

Lisk Introduces Trading on OKEx

The news of the launch of trading on OKEx by LSK has not been able to lift the price but only exaggerated the drop. LSK has dedicated staff in Berlin offices and is one of the best operating projects. Despite undergoing a rebranding in February, the price of the coin remained in the red.
