Today, it has made an important announcement. It disclosed that Layne Levine was appointed president of the Enterprise business unit. This appointment comes just a short while after an extensive national search.

The president and CEO of Windstream, Tony Thomas while addressing a board meeting said, “He has significant senior leadership experience at companies that grew revenue through sales productivity gains and reduced churn. He will drive our efforts to differentiate Windstream from our competitors by delivering a best-in-class customer experience and leveraging next-generation technologies like SD-WAN and unified communications.”
Levine is an experienced executive and the company hopes he will use it for its betterment. He has served the telecom industry for almost 25 years and sources indicate that in the last five he served as the chief revenue officer at GTT. He saw the provider make tremendous steps forward in terms of serving the multinational customers with a wide array of cloud networking services.
He will be remembered for pushing for the growth of the provider’s cloud networking services.
In making his statement, Layne thanked the company for considering him for the top position. He termed it a great privilege vowing to do all within his means to see to it that Windstream succeeded in its quest to generate higher revenues and implement its set plans.
The top executive also said that working as a team was important towards attaining immense business success and that is according to Yahoo. He added that he was a team player who wanted to work with the rest towards helping the company progress.
