Residents and businesses in downtown, Hope Street, Federal Hill, College Hill, and Fox Point can now place their orders from their favorite restaurants near their areas using the Groupon mobile app, and their food will be delivered directly to their doorstep. “We’re thrilled to bring OrderUp to Providence and give our customers easy access to the food they want when they want it,” said Dan Roarty Groupon’s food and drink senior vice president.
Groupon’s OrderUp service joins in the bandwagon of many other food delivery services that have cropped up the likes of UberEATS. But while it is a money making venture for their parent companies, they are also making life simpler for many people who have to work round the clock with little or no time for themselves.
But it is not all about the food delivery service
OrderUp from Groupon will not only be about food delivery service. Other great delivery deals include savings off entire orders as well favorite menu items and many others. OrderUp is an enhanced service that will offer delivery for nearly 40 local restaurants. Just to mention but a few, the lines restaurants are Jacky’s Waterplace, Blend Providence Latin Restaurant, Ocean State Sandwich Company, Clean Plate and Antonio’s Pizza
Groupon’s OrderUp is one of the most inclusive on-demand food deliveries for local markets but nonetheless, its availability is only on iOS or Android. The both have the ability to search and reach restaurants by distance, cuisine type and business hours. Any new user will save up to $10 on their first OrderUp from Groupon order.
