According to latest speculations, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) will launch the much-awaited Radeon RX 470 and Radeon RX 460 on Thursday and on August 8, respectively. Both graphic cards are already built with the state-of-the-art 14nm Polaris chip architecture.
No pricings have been issued yet but it is widely believed that each graphic card will cost less than $200 only, emphasizing the company’s commitment to providing affordable gaming cards with uncompromised valuable experience for all gamers on all platforms.
This two releases follow the launch of the Radeon RX 480, which is now popularly known as the cheapest graphic card at $199 per unit with virtual reality (VR) capabilities, earlier this year.
Radeon RX 470 Features
The Radeon RX 470, a 1080p gaming card, boasts with an anti-aliasing feature that is perfect for some of today’s favorite titles such as Call of Duty (COD): Black Ops III, Fallout 4, Far Cry Primal, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Witcher 3, among others.
In terms of memory, the Radeon RX 470 has a memory speed of 6. 6GBps and a memory bandwidth of 211G Bps.
This powerful graphic card can achieve a peak performance of 4.90 teraflops. It has a 926-MHz base clock speed and a 1,206-MHz boost clock speed.
Radeon RX 460 Features
The Radeon RX 460, a smaller version of the Radeon RX 470, prides with a powerful resolution of 1080p in phenomenal titles such as Counter Strike (CS): Global Offensive, DOTA 2, Heroes of the Storm, League of Legends (LOL), Overwatch, Rocket League, Team Fortress 2, and World of Warships. Needless to say, the Radeon RX 460 can definitely enhance gaming experience on modified gaming laptops and desktops.
In terms of memory, this gaming card boasts with a memory speed of 7 GBps and a memory bandwidth of 112 GBps.
The Radeon RX 460 can deliver a maximum performance of 2.20 teraflops. It had a base clock and boost clock of 1,090 MHz and 1,200 MHz, respectively.
