Many corporate houses, including Patni & Kyron Healthcare and Citi India, have joined forces with Microsoft Ventures of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). As per the reports, the partnership was signed under Microsoft Venture’s #CoInnovate program, which aims to bring together corporates and promising startups.

This forum focuses on bringing together various tech leaders that keep innovation at the center of their strategy to revolutionize the world. Such global collaborations can pave the way not only for economic growth but also for continued development.
What Is #CoInnovate Program?
#CoInnovate makes room for three programs-
- Partner in Acceleration (PIA)
- High Potential Program (Hi-Po)
- Market Access Program
Under PIA program, Microsoft Ventures helps different organizations in setting up incubator/accelerator program by sharing knowledge and resources. At the same time, Hi-Po program allows corporates to nominate certain startups, with whom they want to work, at Microsoft Ventures, so that they can make the best use of their potential. The third program, i.e. MA program connects different startups and corporates in any such business vertical in which both the parties are interested and confident.
Successful Initiation of 3rd Hour of Code
Meanwhile, Microsoft kickstarted the third annual Hour of Code successfully during the Computer Science Education Week between December 7-13, 2015. As part of this initiative, Microsoft organizes thousands of tech events in over 50 countries to introduce millions of youngsters to the world of coding. These events take place at different Microsoft stores, innovation centers, offices, schools, and many YouthSpark Nonprofit partners across the globe.
Over 7000, Microsoft Student Partners lead these events and make sure that maximum young minds can explore coding. To make things easy and hassle-free, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) also partnered with code.org and provided a Minecraft coding tutorial to educators and students. The company plans to organize more such events in the coming months.
